Discipleship

Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior and you are learning to follow Him and disciple others.

But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

After our salvation, our forgiveness from sin, God placed us in a church as a part of a body of Christ with others just like us, and now we fellowship together.

Humility

And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

If tribulation produces perseverance and proven character and hope, then the lack of tribulation can contribute to laziness and self-indulgence, always avoiding the challenges of presenting the gospel.

He can deal gently with the ignorant and misguided, since he himself also is beset with weakness.

It is very easy to get focused on daily demands, planning, and doing, that we don't stop to enjoy the peace and joy that God has granted to us. So now I am relaxing.

Be aware of the situation that God is presenting for your service.

During an average week, I work with and around a good number of people, including kids, that I have been granted by God to establish a loving relationship. I realize how important they are to our continued ministries for the Lord.
